Carl Zimmerman
Carl has been employed in nursing facilities continuously for nearly 30 years and proudly working for the same company his entire career.
He is a Certified Nursing Facility Administrator as well as a Certified Assisted Living Center Administrator. He has degrees in Institutional Management, Health Care Administration as well as nutrition and is a licensed Insurance Producer. Much of his free time is devoted to the Green Valley Rotary Club. Leah Jones
Leah has spent 35 years in the healthcare industry in independent living for seniors, assisted living and long term care. She has been with the company since 1995 and at Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation since 2005. In her free time, she enjoys riding motorcycles, traveling and reading. Amy Malkin
Amy has been in the senior living industry for the past 21 years, starting her career in a sister facility of Santa Rita that was located in Glendale, Arizona. She has a strong dietary and nutrition background, but has learned many other things along the way. Amy is married and has 2 children that attend school in the community. Robyn Eaglen
Robyn is a registered nurse as well as the Director of Nursing at Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Robyn is responsible for coordinating, managing and leading the team of our nursing staff in all aspects of providing exceptional health care. Robyn has gained experience in many areas of nursing throughout her fifteen years of work. Robyn is compassionate and finds her job rewarding when she can make a difference everyday in the lives of our employees and residents. Katie Barans
Katie has worked for Santa Rita both as the Social Worker and now as the Admissions and Marketing Director. She has her Masters in Social Work and will be finishing her MBA in Healthcare Management next year. She enjoys being out in the community and providing people with the information and resources they need to make the right decisions for their family member or loved one. She loves getting to know every person and family that comes to Santa Rita . In her free time she enjoys baking, and spending time with her three children that keep her very busy. Carol Kolb
Carol is a mother of three children. Carol has retired from the military after 21 years of service. She is currently attending college to further her education in the social work field. Carol is the facility Social Service Director and can be reached at socialworker@santaritacare.com.

Deborah Dunlap
Deborah's career expands over many different facets in the healthcare industry but believes that she has found her place here at Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her nursing career started in February of 2002 and feels that working with the geriatric population is where her passion truly lies, Deborah states, "the nursing profession is my calling and I work hard to ensure that the residents have a patient advocate on their side." Currently Deborah is pursuing her BSN and is hopeful that she will reach her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. Time spent away from work includes time with her son and husband, reading, baking and volunteering. Jennifer Hernandez
Jennifer works as our Dietary Manager. Jennifer has worked in long term care for the past 17 years. Jennifer truly enjoys making the dining experience the best that it can be for all of our residents. Jennifer is married and has 4 beautiful children that occupy her time away from work. Roger Hampton
Roger has worked in maintenance for 16 years he enjoys the variety of task from ac to computers. His hobbies are his 6 great kids and his wonderful wife. Roger is the facility Maintenance Director and can be reached at maintenance@santaritacare.com.

Jose Avendano
Jose has been a COTA since 1995. He worked as a travelling therapist, in subacute and acute care and outpatient therapy settings.. He has been at Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 12 years working as a COTA as well as the Director of Rehab Services. He likes working with all of his patients and enjoys being able to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and assisting them to return home. Maria Blanco
Maria has been working in the medical field for 12 years. Her career began in the school system working as a para-educator with children with disabilities. Maria enjoys working with people and assisting where she can. She worked as a Personal Care Attendant at Catholic Community Services and became involved with adults with cerebral palsy. From there she continued her education & became a certified care giver and nurses assistant. Maria started out as a nurse’s assistant at Santa Rita in 2006. She longed for more time to interact with her residents on a personal level and cross-trained to be an activity assistant. In 2009 Maria was offered the Activity Director position. She works hard to build a program that is well-rounded and offers a variety of programs that meet the needs of all of the residents at this facility. Maria continues to further her education and is working on becoming nationally certified as an activity director and pursues her degree in nursing.
